Build Confidence, Technique, and Performance Skills in Singing

Thank you for considering singing lessons with me! I hold a BA in Musical Theatre from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland—one of the UK’s top drama schools, with graduates regularly seen in West End productions and on stages around the world. Since graduating, I’ve worked professionally as an actor across various areas of the industry, and I bring that real-world experience into every lesson I teach.

My Teaching Philosophy

Singing is one of the most powerful and personal forms of self-expression—and everyone has a voice worth discovering. I believe in helping students build strong technical foundations first, rooted in my own classical training, before encouraging them to explore the freedom and artistry of performance. Whether you’re preparing for a professional audition, aiming for drama school, or simply looking to build confidence and skill, I tailor my approach to support your individual journey.

Technique Meets Expression

My teaching is grounded in solid vocal technique—breath support, placement, tone, range, and vocal health are all key parts of what we’ll cover. Once we’ve established that strong base, we’ll focus on interpretation, acting through song, and connecting with your material in a way that feels authentic and exciting.

Strong Technical Foundations
Drawing from my classical training, I place a strong emphasis on healthy vocal technique—covering breath support, placement, tone, range, and control—to ensure your voice develops safely and sustainably.

Performance-Focused Coaching
With my professional experience in musical theatre, I guide students in connecting emotionally and physically to their material. We work on acting through song, storytelling, and delivering performances that feel grounded and expressive.

Drama School & Audition Preparation
For students pursuing musical theatre, I offer focused audition coaching, working on storytelling, presence, and making strong, informed performance choices. As someone who’s been through the process myself, I understand what panels are looking for and how to help you show your best self.

Personalised Repertoire Choices
We’ll work together to choose songs that suit your voice and goals—whether you’re focused on musical theatre, classical, pop, or folk styles. I’ll also introduce new material to help you grow and stretch your range and interpretive skills.

Focus on Expression & Confidence
Singing isn’t just about the notes—it’s about feeling and communication. I help students unlock their natural expression and gain confidence in using their voice as a tool for creativity and self-discovery.

Adaptable, Encouraging Environment
Whether you’re a complete beginner or a working performer, lessons are always relaxed, student-led, and judgement-free. I aim to make each session productive, motivating, and enjoyable.

Tools for Independent Practice
I support students in developing healthy practice habits, learning how to warm up effectively, troubleshoot vocal challenges, and track their own progress in between lessons.
